The Cadets is one of the world's oldest and most honored continually operating drum and bugle corps with members ages 16 to 22 from all over the country and world. The corps was founded in Garfield, N.J. in 1934 as the Holy Name Cadets and has won 10 American Legion National Championships and 10 Drum Corps International World Championships. The Cadets travel an average of 15,000 miles nationwide each summer, competing and performing for hundreds of thousands of fans.

   is a regionally performing drum and bugle corps made up of approximately 128 young men and women ages 16 to 25 that competes in the Drum Corps Associates circuit. Founded in 2012 as a weekend-only alternative to the 10-time DCI World Champion Cadets nationally touring ensemble, Cadets 2 maintains The Cadets' standard of excellence while offering a more time- and cost- effective drum corps experience to young people in and around the Lehigh Valley.

USBands  serves as a competitive circuit for scholastic music programs nationwide, providing world-class performance venues and the best adjudication to tens of thousands of students. Each year, over 700 scholastic ensembles participate in 150 USBands-sanctioned events. The organization is divided into three seasonal departments: USBands Fall for competitive marching band, USBands Winter for competitive indoor color guard and percussion, and USBands Concert for symphonic festivals.

Xcape point Paulo wider 
  offers low-cost, comprehensive dance education to Allentown youth ages 6 to 22. Class offerings include ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary/modern dance. Xcape aims to inspire and motivate students while fostering an appreciation for the arts. Instructors provide a fun and nurturing environment where students of all personalities and backgrounds can explore their creativity while learning valuable life skills such as teamwork, self discipline and work ethic.

Visual Instructor, The Cadets

Alex began his career in the music and arts at Alameda High School in Lakewood Colorado, performing with various concert and marching ensembles. He went on to perform with the Blue Knights Open percussion ensemble in 2001, 2002, 2003, the Blue Knights World percussion ensemble in 2004, 2005, 2006 and the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in 2004 and 2005. He was also a member of the 2005 DCI Individual and Ensemble Bass drum champions and has been a member of the NBA Denver Nuggets Skyline drumline since its inauguration, in 2015.

Alex has taught percussion and visual at a number of Colorado high schools, including Lakewood High School, Alameda High School, Mountain Range High School, Ralston Valley High School, and Overland High School. He was the program coordinator for the Evergreen High School marching band in 2012 and 2013, and is currently on staff at Conifer High School.

Alex has been an educator in Colorado for over fourteen years and has been fortunate enough to teach visual in DCI for the last eight years. He has taught several Drum and Bugle Corps, including High Country Brass in 2010, Blue Knights in 2010, 2011, 2012, Colts in 2013, 2014, 2015, Blue Stars in 2016 and Cadets in 2017. He was also the bass drum technician for the Blue Knights World percussion ensemble in 2012 and Visual Designer for the Altitude World percussion ensemble in 2015.

Alex is very excited to return to The Cadets in 2018. Alex would like to thank all the amazing educators, administrators, volunteers and everyone along the way for all their support and dedication.
